specification Mazda CX-9 Review 2011

The Range
* Bodystyles: SUV
* Engines: 3.7L V-6
* Transmissions: 6-speed automatic
* Models: Sport (FWD and AWD), Touring (FWD and AWD), Grand Touring (FWD and AWD)
What's New
For 2010 the CX-9 gets chrome interior accents, new seat fibers, and softer leathers, There is also a redesigned rear climate control console, refreshed keyless entry and start system, a 4.3-inch LCD, and two-stage heated seats (standard on Touring and Grand Touring, optional on Sport). A back-up camera is available for the first time in
Exterior
Designers hoped to achieve a “sophisticated appearance” with their redesign. A thick chrome bar makes the front grille pop, while the flowing profile, raked windshield, and muscular corners evoke an attractive sports car like attitude.
Interior
Three zone climate control, power windows, and plenty of rear under storage come standard. Leather wrapped steering wheel, shift knob, and center armrest, as well as Bluetooth connectivity are also included. How does 100.7 cubic feet of cargo room (with both second and third rows folded) sound?
Performance & Handling
The 2010 CX-9's 3.7L V-6 makes 263 horsepower and 270 pound-feet at 4250 rpm. It's a fun big ride thanks to the fully independent suspension fore and aft. If towing or soft-roading is your thing, go with the all-wheel drive setup that's capable of sending 50% of torque to the rear rubber..
Safety
Driver and passenger dual front, side, and side curtain airbags come standard. Dynamic stability control and traction control help to keep all four wheels planted. On Grand Touring models, there’s also an available Blind Spot Monitoring System.
The 2010 Mazda CX-9 continues to be one of the strongest offerings in the larger, three-row crossover SUV segment. Now in its fourth year of production, it aims to build upon its established reputation with refreshed exterior and interior packages inspired by "Nagare."

Overall, the 2008 Motor Trend Sport/Utility of the Year winner's high versatility is rivaled by few. It can hold up to seven passengers with 17.6 cubic feet to spare; tackle mild unpaved roads with the available all-wheel drive system in place; and entertain and comfort passengers with upgraded materials and multimedia options. The CX-9 also takes bends confidently despite its bigger build.
You'll mostly notice the refreshed mug with the usual Mazda "smile". More aerodynamically efficient exterior mirrors, rear garnishing, rear lamps, and a new exterior color, Dolphin Gray, are included this model year as well.
